CNN White House reporter Caitlin Collins is in hot water today after her anti-gay tweets resurfaced.
The CNN reporter apologized for using gay slurs in her tweets while in college.
The Log Cabin Republicans called out Collins for the anti-gay tweets she posted in 2011.
Past tweets reveal @CNN reporter @kaitlancollins called people “fag” and was uncomfortable around lesbians.

Collins posted an apology on Sunday for her hateful anti-gay comments.
When I was in college, I used ignorant language in a few tweets to my friends. It was immature but it doesn’t represent the way I feel at all. I regret it and apologize.

Of course, CNN was leading the charge against Judge Brett Kavanaugh for unsubstantiated claims of sexual abuse while he was in high school despite the fact that the allegations were completely uncorroborated.
If CNN had found any Republican who wrote a hateful article like this, they’d be outraged. But since its their own reporter, they’re silent https://t.co/nS1nTUfper pic.twitter.com/RuMTj7386C

Guys those CNN comments were 7 long years ago in college they’d only be problematic if they were 35 years ago in high school
