On Friday, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) announced confirmation hearings for Trump’s SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh will start September 4th.
Grassley recently said his goal is to complete Kavanaugh’s consideration by the Senate Judiciary Panel within 2 weeks of the Senate hearings.
As expected, the Democrats immediately lashed out at the Republicans and accused them of speeding through the confirmation because perhaps the Judge has something to hide.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) lashed out at Republicans on Friday.
Schumer: GOPers’ mad rush to hold this hearing after unilaterally deciding to block nearly all of..Kavanaugh’s records from public release is further evidence..they are hiding important information from the American people..continues to raise the question, ‘What are they hiding?’

Senator Dianne Chi-Com Feinstein (D-CA), who just got busted harboring a Chinese spy for 20 years lashed out at Republicans as well.
Feinstein: It’s clear that Republicans want to speed this nomination through before we know who Brett Kavanaugh is. This is not how the Senate should approve a nominee for a lifetime appointment to the highest court in the land.

Senate Democrats have been escalating their battle to delay Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court.
The Dems requested a long paper trail of Kavanaugh’s work going back to the Bush Administration.
Senate Republicans argue that Schumer and other Dems have already decided they are going to oppose Kavanaugh so this is just another stall tactic.
Brett Kavanaugh already returned a 110-page questionnaire along with thousands of pages of documents to the Senate Judiciary Committee a week and a half ago.
Also, in an unusual request, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein asked federal prosecutors to help review documents of Kavanaugh.
Dirty Rosenstein and the Democrats know President Trump will take Mueller all the way up to the Supreme Court so they are doing everything they can to delay Kavanaugh’s confirmation to prevent Trump from cementing a conservative majority which would ultimately squash the Russia witch hunt.
