This is the story of a woman named Clinton. Hillary Clinton.

Shortly before the 2016 elections when then-candidate Donald Trump stated he wasn’t sure if he’d accept the results of the presidential election if he lost, the mainstream media and their fellow Democrats erupted in outrage at the thought.

Democratic candidate for president Clinton, who pollsters and liberal commentators alike predicted would win in a landslide, led the mob in protest:

Clinton pounced hard, describing Trump as a whiner who always claims he’s being cheated on whenever “things aren’t going in his direction.”

“This is how Donald thinks, and it’s funny, but it’s also really troubling. That is not the way our democracy works,” Clinton said. “He’s denigrating and talking down our democracy. I, for one, am appalled that somebody who is the nominee of one of our two major parties would take that kind of position.”

But as it turned out, it was Trump who won. And since that time it has been the media and Democrats including Clinton who have been on a coordinated and relentless campaign to try and delegitimize Trump’s victory by alleging he worked hand in hand with the Russians to “hack/steal” the election.

The punishment was to be one thing and one thing only: impeachment.

And even though the allegation that Trump colluded with Putin to “subvert democracy” or whatever turned out to be fake news, the Clinton/Democrat/media cabal have continued to call for Trump’s ousting for the crime of upsetting what was supposed to be Queen Hillary’s coronation in 2016.

As we all know by now, those cries grew louder this week after Democrat/media hopes were raised after erroneous reports that Trump engaged in some quid pro quo with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky back in July.

Naturally, Hillary Clinton – who has not gotten over what happened in 2016 – joined the chorus of those concluding that the only answer to the (nothingburger) allegations was impeachment:

Juanita Broaddrick, who has maintained for decades that former President Bill Clinton raped her in 1978 when he was the Arkansas attorney general, alerted Hillary that the only thing she was doing by showing support for impeachment was turning more people into Trump voters:

There may be some merit to what Broaddrick suggests. Polls show Americans by and large are not in the mood for impeachment. If Democrats continue their partisan mission based on allegations that once again do not pass the smell test, it may ultimately end up hurting them at the ballot box come 2020.
