House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) delivered remarks Wednesday afternoon following Mueller’s pathetic press conference.
Pelosi floated impeachment in a statement earlier Wednesday and continued to escalate her anti-Trump rhetoric in remarks to a liberal audience.
“Many constituents want to impeach the president, but we want to do what is right, and what gets results. What gets results.”
Impeach President Trump for what? Winning the 2016 election in an electoral landslide against Crooked Hillary Clinton?
“The case has to be very compelling to the American people,” Pelosi said.
Pelosi then cited the articles of impeachment against former President Richard Nixon as her selling point that it may take a while to build a case against Trump.
“It was a Democratic House and a Democratic Senate,” Pelosi said of Nixon, lamenting the fact that Republicans now control the Senate. “We have a different scenario now so the case has to be very compelling to the American people.”
“We are legislating, we’re investigating and we are litigating,” Pelosi said setting the stage for a push for impeachment in the future.
Mueller’s abusive presser today, where he was too much of a coward to even take any questions, was meant to be chum in the water for rabid Democrats desperately trying to sell the public on impeachment.
The Democrats and their stenographers in the media will continue to sell the public that Trump committed crimes and therefore should be impeached — so far, no one has been able to actually name a crime Trump has committed.
