NASA Forced to Explain Logistics to Feminists Furious Over Cancelled All-Female Spacewalk

- Maret 27, 2019

NASA had planned an all-female spacewalk for two of its astronauts currently on the International Space Station, but due to a few logistical problems, the walk was canceled.

Naturally, this has outraged the permanently outraged feminists.

Astronaughts Anne McClain and Christina Koch were to step out together on March 29 to make upgrades to the ISS. However, it ran into problems when it came to the suits which only one suit that fit the females would be available at that time.

“Mission managers decided to adjust the assignments, due in part to spacesuit availability on the station,” the statement reads. “McClain learned during her first spacewalk that a medium-size hard upper torso – essentially the shirt of the spacesuit – fits her best. Because only one medium-size torso can be made ready by Friday, March 29, Koch will wear it.”

The retribution from the feminist community was swift and was lead, in part, by failed 2016 White House contender Hillary Clinton.

“Make another suit,” tweeted Clinton.

Sirius XM’s DC correspondent Olivier Knox also threw in his two cents.

“Humanity: Able to land a rover on Mars and communicate with it, or have a probe get close to a comet hurtling through space. Also humanity: Hmm, we don’t seem to have this in your size, Woman Astronaut,” he tweeted.

These tweets were met with the standard celebrations of the “logic” put forward by such venerated intellectuals.

Of course, the situation is more complicated than just creating another suit and tossing it up to the ISS. Spacesuits aren’t exactly a dime a dozen and there are only so many to go around. NASA explained, however, that they do indeed have more than one spacesuit that fit the females, the only problem is that McClain was previously scheduled to use the larger size.

After conversations with McClain, who found the medium size fits her better, leadership decided to restructure the spacewalk in order to better accomplish the mission in a more timely and efficient manner. Due to the limited amount of time astronauts have to complete their missions, it was easier to change staff than alter suits.

This was explained by NASA in a tweet to those outraged.

“We’ve seen your tweets about spacesuit availability for Friday’s spacewalk. To clarify, we have more than 1 medium size spacesuit torso aboard, but to stay on schedule with @Space_Station upgrades, it’s safer & faster to change spacewalker assignments than reconfigure spacesuits.”

In other words, this is about the safety of the astronauts and the efficiency of the mission, all of which are top priorities.

To feminists, however, this is all about sexism.

In other words, feminists believe that a job badly done, and done at the risk of the woman, is okay so long as the bragging rights are secured.
