President Donald Trump named Mick Mulvaney, the current Director of the Office of Management and Budget, as his acting White House Chief of Staff.
Mick Mulvaney led the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and was acting Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) from November 2017 to December 2018.

Mulvaney is also famous for shutting down unruly reporters at the White House press briefings.
During a January 2018 presser on the “Schumer Shutdown” CNN’s Jim Acosta tried to get smart with White House Director of the Office of Management and Budget Mick Mulvaney.
Mulvaney took him to school.
