On Wednesday, a New York City Grand Jury indicted disgraced Hollywood super-producer Harvey Weinstein.
Weinstein was indicted on multiple charges of “rape in the first and third degrees, and criminal sexual act in the first degree.”
Harvey Weinstein was accused of raping a woman on March 18, 2013, the complaint said. He was also accused of forcing one woman to perform oral sex on him on one occasion between June and September 2004.
The movie producer denied all allegations of non-consensual sex after a tsunami of Hollywood starlets recently came forward with their horrific Weinstein #MeToo stories, detailing the sexual abuse they endured for years.
“This indictment brings the defendant another step closer to accountability for the crimes of violence with which he is now charged,” Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance said in a statement.

Weinstein’s bond was set at $10 million at his arraignment on Friday and is required to wear a GPS monitoring system and can only travel within New York state or Connecticut, as part of an agreement between Weinstein attorney Benjamin Brafman and the DA’s office.
Weinstein put up $1 million in cash as part of the bail package negotiated in advance and surrendered his passport.
The Oscar-winning producer could find himself behind bars for up to 25 years if found guilty.
He also faces nearly a dozen lawsuits filed in the courts by some of the 80 women who have gone public with allegations of sexual assault and more.
