The same gun control crowd that says we don’t have need for guns is the same crowd that has hedged their bets on high school students to lead the gun control narrative into the future. Only it turns out that these same teens and young adults can’t control their temper, and end up proving that keeping our guns is the safe bet.
And who would have thought that would be the case? It’s not like leftist protests primarily containing this age group never get out of hand.
It’s totally super-duper convinced our own Strieff to give up his guns to the kids too.
According to KCRA3, students from Stagg, Edison, Chavez, Lincoln, and Village Oak high schools in California all left and began creating problems pretty much immediately as they blocked traffic, and began to damage both citizen and police vehicles.
Stockton police said some students threw rocks and damaged both police and citizen vehicles.
Five arrests were made, including charges of battery on an officer, resisting arrest, taking an officer’s baton and vandalizing vehicles, including patrol vehicles, Stockton police said.
Those arrested ranged from 14-years-old to 18-years-old. The 18-year-old was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail and the juveniles were cited to their parents, according to Stockton Police.
Gee, I can feel the grip on my guns relaxing already.
To be fair, the majority of students didn’t engage in vandalism and destruction, but the majority of the population doesn’t. It’s those select few, who would go so far as to attempt to cause physical harm to police and damage personal property, who are the reason why the people own guns.
Furthermore, protesting gun violence by engaging in other kinds of violence is a backward way to promote your message.
If those kids did have a message that was worth listening to, it was completely overshadowed by the violence their peers displayed. As those kids chanted and gave speeches about how our society shouldn’t have weapons, their classmates were busy proving why a gun is necessary.
