Trump previously said he believed the one year sentence being served by Saucier was harsh.
In an interview with ‘Varney and Co.’ last year, the former sailor blasted the double standard surrounding his case relative to Hillary Clinton mishandling classified information.
Kristian Saucier spoke with Fox & Friends in an exclusive interview about the moment he found out he was pardoned.
Saucier was incredibly grateful President Trump followed though with his promise.

Saturday morning, President Trump congratulated Saucier on his newly found freedom.
Trump tweeted: Congratulations to Kristian Saucier, a man who has served proudly in the Navy, on your newly found Freedom. Now you can go out and have the life you deserve!

Thank you, President Trump for doing the right thing.
Hillary Clinton has committed far worse crimes; it’s time to lock her up for good.
