Wynn resigned as the finance chairman of the Republican National Committee on Saturday following a Wall Street Journal report of his alleged decades of sexual misconduct. The Journal said the dozens of people they interviewed who had worked in some capacity for Wynn detailed the pattern of abuse.
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D – N.Y.), who called for Sen. Al Franken’s resignation, said Monday on The View that Republican organizations should give back or donate the money raised by Wynn.
Gillibrand’s hands aren’t exactly clean either, however. The View‘s Meghan McCain questioned Gillibrand if she regrets campaigning with Bill Clinton. The senator avoided answering the question. Saying, “It’s not about any one president. And it’s not about any one industry. And if we reduce it to that, we are missing the opportunity to allow women to be heard.”
So, that’s a no, right?
