As previously reported, ESPN pundit, Jemele Hill was so upset that Jerry Jones warned Cowboys players to stand for the Anthem that she called for people to boycott his advertisers.
Liberals aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed. ESPN lives and dies by the NFL so Jemele Hill is telling people to boycott her own network.
BRILLIANT.
ESPN subsequently suspended Jemele Hill for 2 weeks.
Jemele Hill took to her Twitter account Sunday night to tell people to boycott Jerry Jones’ advertisers. She also previously called POTUS a white supremacist on Twitter and only got a slap on the wrist for her statement.
This play always work. Change happens when advertisers are impacted. If you feel strongly about JJ’s statement, boycott his advertisers. https://t.co/LFXJ9YQe74

ESPN subsequently suspended Jemele Hill for 2 weeks for violating social media policy.
ESPN announced Monday afternoon in a statement:
“Jemele Hill has been suspended for two weeks for a second violation of our social media guidelines. She previously acknowledged letting her colleagues and company down with an impulsive tweet. In the aftermath, all employees were reminded of how individual tweets may reflect negatively on ESPN and that much actions would have consequences. Hence this decision.”
It appears Jemele Hill knew she was in hot water because just a couple hours prior to her suspension, she sent out a panicked tweet. Hill tried to claim she wasn’t advocating for a NFL boycott…
“Just so we’re clear: I’m not advocating a NFL boycott. But an unfair burden has been put on players in Dallas & Miami w/ anthem directives.”

Then she put her foot in her mouth again…
If fans really are that upset about what JJ & Stephen Ross have done, don’t call the players sellouts, but you’re watching every Sunday.
